"Palaka" is fabric used for those who worked in the plantations during the early 19th century Hawaii. In 1930's Palaka shirts with blue jeans became popular Hawaiian style loved by the Loco.
Interfacing is sandwiched between the face material and the lining. This makes the bag to be firm a little.
